What a flag football uniform usually includes

- Many leagues require shorts without pockets, so that fingers and flags do not catch.
- Second jersey

- A hand reaching for a flag can catch in a pocket and hurt a finger, and a pocket can hide a flag. Many leagues therefore require pocketless shorts. Check your own league's rule.
- Do we need two jerseys for tournaments?
- It helps. Tournament teams often meet an opponent in the same color, so many carry a second jersey in a contrasting color or use a reversible one.
