What a rugby uniform usually includes
The pieces a team normally orders together. Tell us which ones you need; a set does not have to include all of them.

- Close-fitting and strongly made, with the club crest on the chest and a number on the back.

- Short and sturdy, built for tackling and scrummaging.
- Socks
- Knee-length, in the club's colors or hoops.

- Plainer jerseys for practice, often in two colors for opposed sessions.

Rules worth checking
Rugby union is played under World Rugby's Laws of the Game, and Law 4 covers players' clothing. In fifteens, jerseys are traditionally numbered 1 to 15 by position, with higher numbers for replacements, so a club orders a set of numbers instead of a number for each name. Unions and competitions add their own rules on sponsor logos and colors, so check with yours before you approve a design.

- Why are rugby jerseys numbered by position?
- In fifteens the number traditionally shows where a player lines up, from 1 for the loosehead prop to 15 for the fullback, so jerseys are shared by position from match to match. Sevens and some competitions number by player instead. Ask your union which applies.
- How does a rugby jersey differ from a soccer jersey?
- It is cut closer to the body and made to take pulling. Ask our team which constructions are available for your order, and size players from the chart for that exact jersey.
