Custom Game Jerseys
The jersey carries the team: its colors, its crest, each player's name and number. Everything else in a uniform is built to go with it, so it is usually the first thing a team designs.
Worn for
Before you order
What to decide first
The choices that shape this garment, and the ones buyers most often wish they had settled earlier.
The cut for your sport
A soccer jersey, a sleeveless basketball jersey, a football jersey worn over pads and a button-front baseball jersey are different garments. Start from the sport, not from a generic shirt.
Home and away
Most leagues expect two contrasting jerseys. Designing both together keeps the crest, lettering and numbers consistent across them.
Names and numbers
Decide whether jerseys carry names, where the numbers go, and check your league's rules on number size, color and which numbers are legal.
Fit across the roster
Men's, women's and youth cuts of the same letter size measure differently. Size every player from the chart for the cut they will wear.

Decoration
How artwork gets onto it
On a jersey printed by dye sublimation, the colors, logos, names and numbers are all part of the fabric, so nothing is added afterward. Other jerseys take heat-applied or sewn-on names and numbers. Which method suits yours depends on the fabric and the look you want.
Our guides compare the decoration methods and explain how to prepare a logo so that it prints or stitches cleanly.
Sizing
Sized from this product’s chart
A letter size means something different on every garment and in every cut, so each player is sized from the chart for the exact product being ordered. Ask our team for it before you collect sizes.
The sizing and roster guide shows how to measure, how to collect sizes from a whole team and what to check before you send a roster.
Questions
Game jerseys: what buyers ask
- Can each jersey have a different name and number?
- Yes. Your roster lists every player's name, number and size, and the artwork proof you approve shows each one before anything is made.
- Can we reorder a few jerseys next season?
- An approved design is kept so that it can be made again. Ask our team about quantities when you get in touch; they depend on the product.
