Before you approve
Rules worth checking
Under the FIH Rules of Hockey, the field players of a team wear uniform clothing, and the goalkeeper wears a shirt in a color different from both teams. School and club associations add their own details on numbers and on skirts or shorts. Check the rules your competition plays under before you approve a design.
Our sizing and roster guide covers number rules, name spelling and the checks to run before you send a roster.

Questions
Field Hockey uniform questions
- Skirts or shorts?
- Either can be part of a uniform. Some associations leave the choice to the team and some set it, so check before you order, and ask your players.
- How is the goalkeeper's jersey different?
- It is worn over protective equipment, so it is cut much larger, and it must be a different color from both teams. Size it over the equipment the goalkeeper actually wears.
- How do I order field hockey uniforms?
- Message us on WhatsApp with your colors, logo and roster, and we will prepare the artwork proof for you to approve before anything is made.
