What a hockey uniform usually includes
The pieces a team normally orders together. Tell us which ones you need; a set does not have to include all of them.

- Cut large to fit over shoulder and elbow pads, with numbers on the back and on both sleeves.
- Socks
- Long socks worn over shin guards, striped to match the jersey.
- Light and dark jerseys
- One of each, because the two teams on the ice must contrast.

- Plain jerseys in several colors, for splitting lines at practice.

Hockey jerseys carry a number on the back and usually on each sleeve, and leagues set how large the numbers must be and how clearly they must contrast with the jersey. Governing bodies also decide whether the home team wears light or dark, and that convention differs between organizations. Read your league's current rulebook before you approve a design.

- How should hockey jerseys be sized?
- Over the pads the player will wear. A hockey jersey is much larger than a shirt of the same letter size, so use the size chart for the exact jersey, and try a sample over equipment when you can.
- Does the home team wear light or dark?
- It depends on the league, and the convention is not the same everywhere. Check your rulebook before deciding which jersey is your home one.
